Requirements:

• DVS in welding-assembly

• Demonstrate good physical ability

• Able to read blueprints and detailed drawings

• SMAW [SN1] and FCAW [SN2] welding, or acquire them

• Able to work with a team

• Able to use bending, rolling, and other manufacturing equipment

• Able to use both the metric and imperial systems

• The following cards would be an asset: WHMIS[SN3] , CWB, forklift, bridge crane

• Production of all types of complex parts

Day shift,

Monday to thursday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m

Friday 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

40 hours per week, permanent position

Start date: immediately

The machinist’s work includes, among other tasks, the operation of production equipment including, but not limited to, horizontal and vertical lathes, and milling and drilling machines.

• Able to use both the metric and imperial systems

• The following cards would be an asset: WHMIS, forklift, bridge crane

• DVS in machining or relevant experience

• Secondary 3 completed
